Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Description and Operation

Cooling Fan Module:

All models use electric motor driven, two speed cooling system fans. The fan module includes a motor support and shroud. The module is fastened to the radiator by bolts.

Electric motors drive the cooling fans to produce air flow across the radiator fins. The fans are controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through High/Low speed radiator fan relays.
