SYMPTOM
REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER (EBL) INOPERATIVE

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- No response/CCD bus failure (BCM)
- Fused ignition switch output circuit short to ground
- Ignition switch output circuit open
- Rear defogger grid GND CKT open
- Rear defogger GRID open
- EBL fused B(+) circuit short to ground
- EBL fused B+ CKT open
- Rear defogger relay out circuit open
- Rear defogger relay output circuit short to ground
- BCM - rear defogger relay control open
- EBL relay - coil defective
- EBL relay coil shorted
- EBL relay contacts open
- JB - EBL fused B+ open
- JB - rear defogger open
- Junction block - rear defogger relay control open
- EBL button switch (stuck closed)
- EBL button switch (stuck open)
- HVAC control head- mode sense open
- EBL fuse defective
- Fuse #15 defective
- Junction block - fused ignition switch output open
