Stabilizer Bar Link Bolt Service Information

DISCUSSION:
The stabilizer bar link bolts have an adhesive patch to aid in retention. Whenever the stabilizer bar link bolts are removed for any reason, the following steps must be performed prior to installation.

^ Clean all grease, oil and loose material from the stabilizer bar link bolts.

^ Apply two drops of Mopar Lock And Seal (P/N 04318031) to the last 1/2 inch of threads on each bolt and torque to 29 Nm (260 in.lbs).

If the stabilizer bar link bolts are replaced with new bolts from Mopar, the Mopar Lock and Seal is not needed.
