Recall 99V043000: Airbags May Not Inflate Properly

Some frontal (passenger side) airbags may not inflate properly.

In the event of a crash, the passenger may not be adequately restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury.

Dealers will replace the air bag module on the passenger side. Owner notification began April 5, 1999. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chrysler at 1-800-992-1997.
