VIN Mismatch

Tests 954 - 956:

SYMPTOM
VIN MISMATCH

WHEN MONITORED
Monitored continuously during the engine RUN cycle.

SET CONDITION
This condition exists when the VIN received from the PCM does not match the VIN stored in the SKIM's EEPROM. Note: Failure maturity time may take up to 3 minutes.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent wiring harness problem
- SKIM defective
- PCM defective
