Power Steering Pump Mounting Bracket Replacement

NOTE: The power steering pump must be removed from the vehicle and the power steering pump pulley removed from the pump for front mounting bracket service. Refer to Power Steering Pump Removal and Installation and Power Steering Pump Pulley.

Power Steering Pump Mounting Bolts:

1. Once the pump pulley is removed using the above procedure, remove the three bolts attaching the power steering pump to the mounting bracket.
2. Remove the power steering pump from mounting bracket.
3. Remove the bracket from the vise.
4. Install the bracket in the vise.
5. Install power steering pump on mounting bracket. Install the three power steering pump mounting bolts. Torque the three mounting bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
6. Reinstall the pulley on the power steering pump using the above procedure.
