P-0460 FUEL LEVEL UNIT NO CHANGE OVER MILES

WHEN MONITORED
Ignition on.

SET CONDITION
The low fuel sense circuit voltage at the PCM does not change a calibrated amount over a calculated number of miles.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fuel tank sending unit defective
- Fused ignition switch output open
- Instrument cluster printed circuit board defective
- Fuel level sensor signal circuit to PCM open
- Powertrain control module defective
- Fuel level sensor signal circuit short to ground
- Fuel lvl sen sig ckt to fuel tank send unit open
