When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0725-ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT
When Monitored: Ignition key is turned from off position to run and/or ignition key is turned from crank position to run. The following conditions must be met for a successful OBDII trip: Engine must run > 2 mins, Turbine speed > 600 RPM or output speed > 400 RPM,
Set Condition: if trans is below normal operating temp, all fwd gears must be applied for 3.5 sees each and trans must be in park or neutral for 3.5 sees. If trans is hot, all fwd gears must be applied for 1.5 sees each and trans be in park. No MIL lamp trouble codes.

- LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE CAUSING SYMPTOM
- BAD CONNECTIONS AT VARIOUS CONNECTORS
- EATX RPM SIGNAL AT PCM DEFECTIVE
- EATX RPM SIGNAL SHORT TO VOLTAGE
- EATX RPM SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
- EATX RPM SIGNAL ON TCM DEFECTIVE
- ENGINE RPM STILL WRONG
- EATX SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
