SET CONDITION
BCM detects a high level on the wiper on/off relay control circuit when it is attempting to turn on the wipers.

THEORY OF OPERATION
One side of the wiper on/off relay coil is wired to the battery, the other side is wired to the BCM. When the BCM wants to turn on the wipers, it grounds its side of the coil. This signal should go low when the BCM turns it on; if not, the fault will be set and the output will be deactivated to protect the BCM from damage.

PROBABLE CAUSES
- Wiper on/off relay control shorted to battery
- Failed relay
- Failed BCM
