Fig.76 Input Signal Testing:

1. Ensure ignition switch is in Off position, then connect test equipment.
2. If scan tool is not used, operate (turn On/Off) each switch function, a voltage pulse indicates that a correct signal has been sent to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
3. If scan tool is used, operate (turn On/Off) each switch function, a BUZZ or PEEP tone from the Scan Tool indicates that a correct signal has been sent to the ECU.
