Transfer Assembly

1. Drain transaxle assembly.
2. Remove active front venturi skirt from vehicle.
3. Remove front exhaust pipe and main muffler assembly from vehicle.
4. Remove driveshaft retaining bolts then midship bearing retaining bolts and driveshaft from vehicle.
5. Remove five transfer case retaining bolts, then transfer assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
a. Torque transfer assembly bolts to 64 lb-ft.
b. Torque front exhaust pipe and main muffler assembly flange bolts to 36 ft-lb.
c. Torque front exhaust pipe flange to turbocharger outlet nuts to 40-47 ft-lb.
