Clutch Pedal Height

To determine if the pedal height requires adjustment, measure the distance from the floor pan to the upper center of pedal pad. The distance should be 6.97-7.17 inches.
If pedal height is lower than specified, loosen bolt or clutch switch, then turn the pushrod to adjust clutch pedal to specification. After making the adjustment, adjust the bolt or clutch switch to reach the pedal stopper and tighten locknut. If pedal height is higher than specified, use the following procedure:
1. On vehicles less cruise control, turn and adjust bolt located at top of pedal so that pedal height is within specification, then secure by tightening locknut.
2. On vehicles equipped with cruise control, disconnect clutch switch connector, then turn switch to adjust pedal height. Tighten switch locknut.
3. Ensure that clutch interlock switch is as shown, when clutch pedal is fully depressed. If switch is not as shown, loosen locknut and adjust.
