Shift Interlock Cable: Adjustments

1. Place selector lever in Park position, the disconnect key interlock cable from selector lever.





2. Turn lock cam B, Fig.6, counterclockwise (arrow 1) to move set lever upward (arrow 2).
3. Fit cutout in set lever to lockpin of lock cam B.





4. Connect shift lock cable to lock cam B and temporarily tighten nut. Install spring and washer to shift lock cable, Fig.7.
5. Press set lever to prevent lock cam B from moving, then lightly pull shift lock cable to remove slack. Tighten nut to secure shift lock cable in position. Ensure shift lock cable end is in contact with fixing pin of lock cam B.





6. Connect key interlock cable to lock cam A, Fig. 8, then temporarily tighten nut. Install spring and washer to key interlock cable.
7. Press lock cam A in direction of arrow and push key interlock cable to take up slack, Fig.8. Tighten nut to secure key interlock cable in position.
8. Turn set lever and install it onto fixing pin of lock cam A, then install snap ring.
