Control Arm: Service and Repair

Fig. 5 Lower Control Arm Replace:

1. Remove upper and lower stabilizer link mounting nuts, then stabilizer link.
2. Remove lower ball joint to steering knuckle retaining nut, then press ball joint from steering knuckle assembly.
3. Remove lower control arm clamp mounting bolts.
4. Remove lower control arm mounting bolt, then lower control arm.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque all bolts to specification.
