Rear Power Steering Pump

The rear system power steering pump is not serviceable. If a malfunction or leak should occur, the pump assembly should be replaced.
1. Drain rear power steering fluid.
2. Remove exhaust system to gain access and clearance.
3. Remove rear shock absorber lower mounting bolt.
4. Remove crossmember bracket and crossmember mounting nut on differential side.
5. Remove pressure hose and suction hoses.
6. Remove rear power steering pump.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Refill fluid to specified level, then bleed system of air.
b. Inspect four-wheel steering system operation.
