Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Description and Operation

Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit:

PURPOSE
The Intake Air Temperature Sensor is a thermistor which measures intake air temperature as a resistance value. The resistance of the sensor increases as temperature decreases. The ECM modifies fuel injection duration according to the intake air temperature signal.
