Without Cruise Control

Accelerator Cable Adjustment Bolt Locations:

1. Turn the ignition on (without starting the engine) for approx. 15 seconds minimum.
2. Loosen the adjusting bolts.
3. Adjust the accelerator cable free play to 1-2mm (0.04-0.08 in) for Manual Transmission or 3-5 mm (0.12-0.20 in) for Automatic Transmission.
4. Tighten the adjusting bolts.
5. Confirm that the throttle valve fully opens and closes by operating the accelerator pedal.

Accelerator Cable Attachment Point, Throttle End:

6. Confirm that the throttle lever stopper touches the idle position switch.
