Turbo Boost Gauge: Description and Operation

Boost Meter Circuit:

Boost pressure is calculated by the Engine Control Module (ECM) based on input signals from the airflow meter, intake air temperature sensor and the barometric pressure sensor.

When the ECM determines that boost pressure is present, a pulsed ground signal is given to the boost meter circuit and the gauge (located in the center dash gauge cluster) responds in relation to the boost pressure.
