Instrument Cluster Replacement

Fig. 6 Instrument Cluster:

1. Disable airbag as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Remove instrument panel lower knee protector panel attaching screws.
3. Remove steering column cover upper to lower attaching screws, then carefully unsnap upper steering column cover from lower.
4. Remove instrument cluster as shown noting the following:
a. On models equipped with mechanical speedometer, disconnect speedometer cable at transaxle, then pull toward interior, then disconnect instrument cluster speedometer adapter by turning right or left.
5. Reverse procedure to install, enabling airbag as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
