Air Cleaner Housing: Locations

LOCATION
The canister's main body is attached to the right fenderwell. The clip-on lid is attached to the intake manifold surge tank via a flexible hose coupling. The air cleaner also houses (attached to the lid) the Volume Air Flow Meter, Barometric Pressure Sensor and the Intake Air Temperature Sensor. These are all Engine Control Module (ECM) sensor devices and are covered in detail in COMPUTERS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS.
