1. Remove timing belt, refer to TIMING BELT.
2. Remove intake manifold, refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD.
3. Remove camshaft oil seals in sequence shown, noting the following:
a. Remove camshaft sprocket by holding camshaft on the hexagonal part and removing sprocket bolt.
b. Cut out a portion of the camshaft seal then pry out seal using a suitable pry tool.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install camshaft oil seal using seal installer tool No. MD998671.
b. Tighten rocker covers in sequence shown. Rocker cover bolts are color coded, front bank bolts are black and rear bank bolts are green.
