BACKGROUND
- The engine control module always monitors the intake air amount to check if the engine is in an overboost condition.
- When the engine control module judges that the engine is in an overboost condition, it cuts off the fuel supply to protect the engine.

RANGE OF CHECK/SET CONDITIONS
- A condition where the fuel supply is to be shut off is detected.

PROBABLE CAUSES
- Turbocharger wastegate actuator failed.
- Boost pressure control system failed.
- Engine control module failed.
