Clutch Cable: Adjustments

The clutch cable used on these vehicles incorporates a self adjusting mechanism within the cable outer housing at the pedal end of the cable. A preload spring is used to take up slack in the cable and to keep the release bearing tensional against the fingers of the clutch pressure plate.
