Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Depress brake pedal and rotate switch counterclockwise approximately 30°.
3. Pull switch rearward and remove from mounting bracket.
4. Disconnect wire connector from switch.
5. Pull switch plunger head out until ratchet sound stops.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
