Owner Letter

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION TO PREVENT INTERNAL ENGINE DAMAGE

Dear Neon Owner:

The satisfaction of our customers is very important to Chrysler. Because of this, we are requesting owners of some 1996 Dodge or Plymouth Neon vehicles to return them to their dealer for a special service.

The Problem

Water may enter the air cleaner housing on your Neon (identified on the enclosed form), and be ingested into the engine. This could cause internal engine damage.

What Chrysler and your dealer will do...

Chrysler will repair your Neon free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will drill a drain hole in the air cleaner housing and seal the hood to cowl weatherstrip. The work will take about a half hour to complete. However, additional time may be necessary depending on how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.

What you must do...

^ Simply contact your dealer to schedule a service appointment.

^ Bring the enclosed Owner Notification Form with you to your dealer. It explains the required service to the dealer.
