B. Seat Cowl

1. Remove the cowl-to-hood weatherstrip (Figure 2).

2. Lay the weatherstrip flat on a bench with the flanged bottom channel facing up.

3. Apply a 1/4 inch (6 mm) bead of RTV sealer (either PN 4318025, PN 82300234 or equivalent) in the channel for the entire length of the weatherstrip.

4. Reinstall the weatherstrip on the cowl flange. Be sure to fully seat the weatherstrip. wipe off any excess sealer.
