Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)

The Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) is located under the master cylinder. The HCU contains the following components for controlling brakes during ABS braking; four decay valves, four shuttle valves, two fluid sumps, a pump/motor and a relay box. Also attached to the HCU are rear brake proportioning valves and the six hydraulic tubes.
