PARTS REQUIRED:

1677 mm 4439003 Hose, Windshield Washer, 5/32" Bulk

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves replacing the windshield washer feed hose to eliminate restriction caused by connectors.

1. Remove the existing windshield washer hose and retainers from the windshield washer bottle to the "F" connector on the underside of the hood.

2. Partially remove left side end of hood to cowl weatherstrip by pulling upward to separate it from rail.

3. Bend the sheetmetal down and out of the way at the left end of the rail to allow windshield washer hose to pass under weatherstrip next to wire harness.

NOTE:
WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE MUST PASS UNDER WEATHERSTRIP WITHOUT RESTRICTING THE HOSE.

4. Install new hose P/N 4439003 from the windshield washer bottle to the "F" connector on the hood. Route hose as shown in the illustration above.

NOTE:
LEAVE MINIMUM SLACK IN THE HINGE AREA.
