Glove Box Lamp: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The glove box lamp is powered by the 10 Ampfuse, located in the junction block, on the M1 circuit. This fuse is the Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) fuse and is located in cavity 13. This circuit is HOT at all times.

The glove box lamp uses a switch, located on the front of the glove box, that is normally OPEN. When the glove box is opened the switch CLOSES completing the path to ground.

Ground for the lamp is provided on circuit Z1 and terminates at the Airbag Control Module (ACM) bracket.
