Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery.
2. Remove fan module. Refer Cooling System for procedure.
3. Remove drive belts.
4. Use special tool C-3281, or equivalent to hold crankshaft damper while removing center bolt.
5. Remove crankshaft damper.





INSTALLATION
1. Install crankshaft damper. Use Special Tool C-3281, or equivalent to hold crankshaft damper while tightening center crankshaft bolt to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
2. Install two drive belts.
3. Install fan module.
4. Connect battery.
