Trim Panel: Service and Repair

Front Assist Handle:

FRONT ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL
1. Pull and hold assist handle down.
2. Remove screws holding assist handle to roof.
3. Separate assist handle from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place assist handle in position on vehicle.
2. Install screws to hold assist handle to roof.

Rear Assist Handle And Reading Lamp:

REAR ASSIST HANDLE AND READING LAMP REMOVAL
1. Pull down coat hook.
2. Remove screw holding assist handle to roof from behind coat hook.
3. Pull and hold assist handle down.
4. Remove screws holding assist handle to roof.
5. Separate assist handle from roof.
6. Disengage clips holding reading lamp socket to back of assist handle base.
7. Disengage reading lamp switch from slot on back of assist handle base.
8. Separate assist handle from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place assist handle in position on vehicle.
2. Engage reading lamp switch into slot on back of assist handle base.
3. Engage clips to hold reading lamp socket to back of assist handle base.
4. Place assist handle in position on roof.
5. Install screws to hold assist handle to roof.
6. Pull and hold assist handle down.
7. Install screw to hold assist handle to roof behind coat hook.

Front Door Glass Frame Trim:

FRONT DOOR GLASS FRAME TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Remove screw holding door glass frame trim to door panel.
3. Separate trim from door glass frame.

INSTALLATION
1. Place trim in position on door glass frame.
2. In stall screw to hold door glass frame trim to door panel.
3. Install door trim panel.

Front Door Inner Belt Weatherstrip:

FRONT DOOR INNER BELT WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Lift inner belt weatherstrip upward to disengage channel from top of inner door panel.
3. Separate belt weatherstrip from door.

INSTALLATION
1. Place belt weatherstrip in position on door.
2. Push inner belt weatherstrip downward to en gage channel to top of inner door panel.
3. Install door trim panel.

Door Sill Trim:

DOOR SILL TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove screws holding door sill trim to sill panel.
2. Separate sill trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place sill trim in position on vehicle.
2. Install screws to hold door sill trim to sill panel.

A-Pillar Trim:

A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove screw holding bottom of A-pillar trim to cowl panel.
2. Disengage clips holding trim to A-pillar.
3. Separate A-pillar trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place A-pillar trim in position on vehicle.
2. Engage clips to hold trim to A-pillar.
3. Install screw to hold bottom of A-pillar trim to cowl panel.

Side Cowl Trim:

SIDE COWL TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove screw holding top of side cowl trim to A-pillar.
2. Remove door sill trim as necessary to clear cowl trim removal path.
3. Remove screws holding side cowl trim to cowl panel.
4. Separate side cowl trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place side cowl trim in position on vehicle.
2. Install screws to hold side cowl trim to cowl panel.
3. Install door sill trim.
4. Install screw to hold top of side cowl trim to A- pillar.

B-Pillar Upper Trim:

B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove shoulder belt turning loop cover.
2. Remove bolt holding turning loop to shoulder belt height adjuster.
3. Separate turning loop from adjuster.
4. Disengage clips holding upper trim to B-pillar.
5. Separate B-pillar trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place B-pillar trim in position on vehicle.
2. Engage clips to hold upper trim to B-pillar.
3. Place shoulder belt turning loop in position on adjuster.
4. Install bolt to hold turning loop to shoulder belt height adjuster.
5. Install shoulder belt turning loop cover.

B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove upper B-pillar trim.
2. Remove bolt holding seat belt to floor below B-pillar.
3. Remove access door from above seat belt slot on B-pillar trim.
4. Disengage clips holding lower trim to B-pillar.
5. Separate B-pillar trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place B-pillar trim in position on vehicle.
2. Engage clips to hold lower trim to B-pillar.
3. Install access door above seat belt slot on B-pillar trim.
4. Install bolt to hold seat belt to floor below B- pillar.
5. Install upper B-pillar trim.

Upper Quarter Trim:

UPPER QUARTER TRIM REMOVAL
1. Disengage clips holding upper quarter trim to inner quarter panel.
2. Separate upper quarter trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place upper quarter trim in position on vehicle.
2. Engage clips to hold upper quarter trim to inner quarter panel.

Lower Quarter Trim:

LOWER QUARTER TRIM REMOVAL
1. Remove upper quarter trim.
2. Remove rear seat cushion and back.
3. Remove bolt holding rear seat shoulder harness to floor at bottom of quarter trim.
4. Remove sill trim as necessary to clear quarter trim removal path.
5. Remove screws holding lower quarter trim to inner quarter panel.
6. Separate quarter trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place quarter trim in position on vehicle.
2. Install screws to hold lower quarter trim to inner quarter panel.
3. Install sill trim.
4. Install bolt to hold rear seat shoulder harness to floor at bottom of quarter trim.
5. Install rear seat cushion and back.
6. Install upper quarter trim.

Parcel Shelf Trim Panel:

PARCEL SHELF TRIM PANEL REMOVAL
1. Remove lower quarter trim panels.
2. Disengage center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) wire connector.
3. Pull parcel shelf trim away from rear glass to disengage clips.
4. Disengage seat belt bezels from shelf trim panel.
5. Pull rear shoulder harnesses through access holes in shelf trim.
6. Separate parcel shelf trim from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Place parcel shelf trim in position in vehicle.
2. Insert rear shoulder harnesses through access holes in shelf trim.
3. Engage seat belt bezels into shelf trim panel.
4. Push parcel shelf trim rearward toward rear glass and engage clips.
5. Engage CHMSL wire connector.
6. Install lower quarter trim panels.
