Front Door Handle: Service and Repair

Outside Front Door Handle:

REMOVAL
1. Close door glass.
2. Remove door trim panel.
3. Disengage clips holding latch release link and lock link to door latch.
4. Separate links from latch.
5. Remove screws holding retainer to back of door handle.
6. Separate retainer from door handle.
7. Separate door handle from door.

INSTALLATION
1. Place door handle in position on door.
2. Place retainer in position on door handle stud.
3. Install screws to hold retainer to back of door handle.
4. Insert links into clips on latch.
5. Engage clips to hold latch release link and lock link to door latch.
6. Verify door latch handle operation.
7. Install door trim panel.
