Motorized Seat Belt Moves Slowly In Either Direction
This condition is most likely the result of insufficient lubricant in the track assembly. Proceed as follows:
1. Cover passenger seat with a disposable cloth, then place ignition switch in On position and disconnect shoulder belt buckle from carrier.
2. After belt retracts to B-pillar, apply 1/4 inch diameter spots of Mopar Passive Restraint Track Lubricant or equivalent at 5 points along secondary carrier contact surface on rail, then apply at 12 points along carrier slot in rail.
3. Connect shoulder belt carrier, then open and close door several times and allow belt retraction and extension to distribute lubricant along length of track.
4. Place ignition switch in Off position.
