Seat Belt Motor: Service and Repair

1. Remove interior trim panels as necessary to gain access to motor and track components, then disconnect electrical connector from motor.
2. Remove motor attaching nut, then the two cable guide tube screws.
3. Remove track screws and lock box bolt, then remove track and drive assembly from vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque drive motor mounting nut to 15 ft. lbs.
b. Torque forward track screw to 36 inch lbs. and track bolts to 12 ft. lbs.
c. Torque lock box bolt to 29 ft. lbs. and cable guide tube screws to 17 inch lbs.
