Oil Pump Replacement

NOTE: Oil pan must be removed prior to removing oil pump.

1. Remove accessory drive belt as outlined under "Serpentine Drive Belt."
2. Remove timing belt as outlined under "Timing Belt, Replace", then the crankshaft pulley.

Oil Pump Assembly:

3. Remove five retaining bolts holding oil pump to block.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install pump with proper length bolts in correct position.
b. Tighten bolts to specifications.
