Radiator: Service and Repair

Do not attempt to remove radiator cap or service cooling system while engine is hot.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system into a suitable container.
3. Remove hose clamps and hoses.
4. Remove coolant reserve system tank to filler neck tube.
5. Disconnect fan electrical connector, then remove fan and fan support.
6. Remove fan shroud, if equipped.
7. Remove upper radiator mounting screws.
8. On models equipped with A/C, remove condenser mounting screws at top of radiator
9. On all models, carefully lift radiator out. Do not damage cooling fins or water tubes.
10. Reverse procedure to install. Fill cooling system with suitable coolant.
