Brake Master Cylinder: Testing and Inspection

Ensure the master cylinder compensates in both ports by applying the brake pedal lightly (engine running with power brakes) and observing brake fluid squirting up in the reservoir chambers. Due to a baffle incorporated in the master cylinder, only a minor fluid disturbance may be noticed in the rear chamber of the reservoir.
