Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Front Door Latch And Lock Assembly:

1. Remove trim panel.
2. Remove watershield, as necessary.
3. Disconnect inside handle to latch linkage.
4. Disconnect outside handle to latch linkage.
5. Disconnect lock motor to latch linkage.
6. Remove three torx head screws, used to fasten the latch to the door sheet metal.
7. Remove latch.
8. Reverse this procedure to install.
