Water Pump: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system into a suitable container, then remove upper radiator hose.
3. Remove A/C compressor from mounting brackets and position aside with refrigerant lines attached, if equipped.
4. Remove alternator.

Water Pump:

5. Disconnect lower radiator hose, bypass hose. Remove four water pump to engine attaching screws and water pump.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
