BTDC: Before Top Dead Center
N: Neutral
[01] Automatic lash adjusters used; no adjustment necessary.
[02] Before removing wires from distributor cap or coil, determine location of No. 1 wire, as position may have been altered from that shown at end of this chart.
[03] Curb idle speed shown; fast idle speed is controlled by Power Train Control Module (PCM).
[04] Loosen gas cap to release pressure in tank. Ground one terminal of any injector with a jumper wire. Connect remaining terminal of injector to battery positive post using a jumper for no longer than ten seconds to release fuel.
[05] Check ignition timing w/coolant sensor wire disconnected.
