SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

On some vehicles, a creaking or squeaking noise may be heard coming from the rear window area while traveling at slow speeds over rough roads, railroad tracks, or speed bumps. This noise is more noticeable in cold weather.


DIAGNOSIS:

If the noise can be duplicated or changed by pushing out on the rear window, proceed to the repair procedure.


PARTS REQUIRED:

1 Mopar Spray White Lube PN 4549615


REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This repair involves lubricating the rear window molding.

1. Using a trim stick, pry the rear window molding slightly away from the body sheet metal.

2. Using the application tube, apply Mopar spray white lube into the opening created by the trim stick.

3. Continue this procedure around the full circumference of the rear window between the molding and painted sheet metal.

4. Clean any excess lube from the exterior surfaces.
