Cruise Control Relay: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Relay supplies battery voltage to speed control servo.

OPERATION
When speed control is engaged the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives an input from speed control ON switch. In response to the input, the PCM grounds (energizes) the relay. When energized the relay provides battery voltage to the speed control vacuum and vent solenoids inside the servo.
