SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Glass run weatherstrip lip sticks to glass and makes a dull popping noise when glass is lowered; rolls out of door garnish molding at top when glass is lowered.
Glass run weatherstrip flap sticks to roof rail molding and to itself. Makes creaking/sticking noise when door is opened.
On New Yorker and LHS, rear door quarter glass weatherstrip sticks to (not behind) roof rail molding. High ambient temperatures aggravate this condition. Door is hard to open.
PARTS REQUIRED:
1 4773427 1 Oz. Bottle Weatherstrip Lubricant
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
Apply lubricant (P/N 4773427) to weatherstrip lip(s) as required.
