SYMPTOMICONDITION:
Rattle in the upper B-Pillar area near the shoulder harness adjuster. Most noticeable when the shoulder harness is adjusted all the way up or down.
PARTS REQUIRED:
1 4773968 Felt Tape
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This repair involves insulating the upper B-Pillar trim from the shoulder harness adjuster slide.
1. Using the procedure outlined in the appropriate service manual, remove the B-Pillar upper trim panel and remove the shoulder harness adjuster slide.
2. Install five (5) 1 in. pieces of felt tape as indicated.
3. Install the shoulder harness adjuster slide and B-Pillar upper trim panel.
POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
