Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Description and Operation

Fuel Delivery System:

The Fuel Delivery system consists of a fuel tank, a submersible electric fuel pump, fuel filter, throttle body, fuel injector, fuel pressure regulator and associated lines, hoses and controls. Fuel is pumped from the fuel tank by the electric pump to the throttle body, the injector, and the fuel pressure regulator, with excess fuel returning to the tank via the fuel return line. The Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC) controls fuel flow through the injector.
