Belts Do Not Move With Carriers In Any Position

CAUTION: When testing operation of system, ensure care is taken not to damage connectors, terminals or seals. Damage to terminals and connectors may result in system malfunction or failure.

NOTE: Use suitable volt and ohmmeters when performing the following tests.

1. Check battery voltage to module for motors as follows:
a. Check for battery voltage at red wire of module 10-way connector.
b. Check system circuit breaker in fuse block.
c. Check for proper connection of the right side 25-way connector.
2. Check for ground at module for motors as follows:
a. Check black wire of module 10-way connector for continuity to ground.
b. If circuit shows no continuity, repair open in circuit.
3. Check ignition input to the module as follows:
a. Disconnect module 21-way connector, then place ignition in On position.
b. Check for battery voltage at dark blue/white wire of 21-way connector.
c. If no voltage is present, check fuse, right side 25-way connector and ignition switch.
d. If voltage is present, Check all wiring connectors and terminals, then replace control module if system fails to operate properly.
