4 Door Models

Front Door:

1. Load door latch assembly with optional electric motor assembly attached.
2. Secure latch to inner panel, leave motor loose.
3. Install outside handle assembly with key cylinder link and handle link into door handle opening.
4. Assemble linkages to latch assembly.
5. Position outside handle to outer door panel, attach retainer bracket, and secure.
6. Install remote control and remote rod.
7. Connect link to latch, secure remote to inner panel.
8. Clip remote rod to anti-rattle clip.
9. Install rear lower glass channel into rear upper channel.
10. Secure to door inner panel.
11. Attach power lock motor to door inner panel (as required).
12. Install glass run and weatherstrip assembly. Start at rear upper corner and attach along daylight opening, then snap retaining clips into rear channel.
13. Position and attach outside belt moulding, starting at forward edge.
14. Position and install lock knob rod with seal and lock knob through inner door panel to latch assembly.
15. Install forward glass channel and place in front area of door.
16. Install prepositioned manual or electric regulator to door inner panel.
17. Place harness through cowl panel and into door. Route and clip door wiring (electric only).
18. Secure to door inner panel.
19. For disassembly, reverse above procedure.
