Service Procedure and Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Service ProcedureUpon owner request, apply the VECI label as follows:
1. Raise the hood and locate the VECI label on the underside of the hood panel.
2. Clean the surface of the existing label and apply the owner-supplied label directly over it, covering the original label.
Completion Reporting and Reimbursement
Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service completions and provide dealer payments.
Use one of the following labor operation numbers and time allowances as applicable for the recall number involved.
Note:
Vehicles requiring VECI label installation are divided into three separate recall groups depending on vehicle model and engine/emission system configuration. To ensure proper payment, be sure to use the correct labor operation number for the applicable recall as defined. The recall number can be identified from the Owner Recall Notification Form (lower right), from the applicable dealer Vehicle List or from DIAL System Function 70.
