Oxygen Sensor: Description and Operation

The oxygen sensor is installed in the exhaust gas stream between the turbocharger and front three-way catalyst. The output voltage signal, varying with oxygen content in exhaust gas, is transmitted to the ECU for controlling closed loop operation of fuel delivery time.
