Transmission Oil Pump - Disassembly

DISASSEMBLY




Figure 1 - OIL PUMP NYLON THRUST WASHER





1. Remove the nylon thrust washer (1) from the oil pump.

2. Remove the seal rings (1) from the oil pump.

3. Remove the O-ring (1) from the oil pump.

4. Remove the bolts securing the oil pump to the oil pump cover.

5. Separate the oil pump from the oil pump cover.

6. Remove the drive gear (3) and driven gear (2) from the oil pump.

7. Remove the primary regulator valve (1).
